Do Kwon, the entrepreneur responsible for the failed cryptocurrencies TerraUSD and Luna, is set to appear in a Manhattan federal court on Thursday to face criminal fraud charges. The charges stem from the collapse of his digital currencies in 2022, resulting in an estimated $40 billion loss for investors. Kwon had been extradited from Montenegro, where he was detained after attempting to use falsified travel documents.
